How To Draw Eevee - Kawaii Style - Easy Step By Step Guide

Time to give another Pokemon drawing a try. Let’s learn how to draw Eevee today.

Eevee is an adorable little Pokemon with a heart of gold. Eevee has seven different evolutions, which are determined by the moves it learns in battle and its personality value. The more calm and collected Eevee becomes, the more likely it will evolve into Jolteon. If you would like to learn how to draw Eevee in its unevolved form, follow this step-by-step tutorial!

Art Supplies

Here’s a list of coloring supplies we recommend to use, however, feel free to use whatever you can find around the house!

Pencil, Marker, Sharpie, Pen (Anything you can draw with!)
Paper (We love marker paper but use anything you can find).

Colored Markers (if you want to color the drawing).
Here are what we think are the best colored pencils, best gel pens and best markers for coloring.
Your imagination (feel free to change colors or add things to the drawing!).

Otherwise, just pick whatever coloring tools you have around the house (crayons, markers, pencil crayons etc.) and just have some fun!

A Few Tips Before You Start Drawing

Nothing too tricky. Start the ears from the narrow top and go down to make it easier to manage the width.
Lots of little spikes for the hair. Don’t worry about being exact.

Let’s Draw Eevee – Step By Step

howtodraw-eevee-step1 — **Step 1:** Let’s start by drawing Eevee’s face outline. Make a slightly wide U-shape with a squarish jaw.

howtodraw-eevee-step2 — **Step 2:** Draw the two pointy ears. Make them long and angled like a V.

howtodraw-eevee-step3 — **Step 3:** Next is to draw random zigzag strokes to form his hair. Start at the bottom of his left ear.

howtodraw-eevee-step4 — **Step 4:** Continue the zigzag and wavy stroke combinations until you reach the bottom part of his right ear. Hair should be arched to form the shape of his head.

howtodraw-eevee-step5 — **Step 5:** Draw the eyes. It’s like an oval egg shape. Draw a small white circle on the upper part of each eye. Follow the sample above for the bottom portion. You may shade the mid part black.

howtodraw-eevee-step6 — **Step 6:** Add the details on his face like a small line above each eye. Draw a dot for his nose and curly strokes for his mouth, as illustrated.

howtodraw-eevee-step7 — **Step 7:** Next is to start making Eevee’s neck fluff. Following the guide above, start on his left cheek in drawing random wavy strokes downwards, towards the middle part of the body.

howtodraw-eevee-step8 — **Step 8:** Do the same on the right side. Starting from the cheek portion, draw the fluffy strokes towards the mid portion below.

howtodraw-eevee-step9 — **Step 9:** Finish off by adding details in his neck. Follow the arrows above to make the strokes.

howtodraw-eevee-step10 — **Step 10:** Next part is to draw his legs and feet. Start with his left leg. Follow the shape we have above.

howtodraw-eevee-step11 — **Step 11:** Draw the right leg next. The shape is similar with the previous step.

howtodraw-eevee-step12 — **Step 12:** Next is the hind leg. Follow the arrows to form this part.

howtodraw-eevee-step13 — **Step 13:** Draw two small lines at the bottom of each feet. This will make his toes.

howtodraw-eevee-step14 — **Step 14:** Next is to start drawing his bushy tail. Connecting from his neck fur, draw an outward stroke with wavy tips then end with a short, downward stroke.

howtodraw-eevee-step15 — **Step 15:** Connect a wider curve to end on his hind leg.

howtodraw-eevee-step16 — **Step 16:** Coloring time! Eevee is known to have brown fur. He has a lighter shade for his neck fluff as well as for the tips of his tail. Play with your brown hues and have fun!
