Let’s give it a try and see if we can draw Sonic The Hedgehog together!
He’s a bit more difficult than other characters we draw; mainly his arms and hands can be a bit of a challenge.
Don’t worry if you make a mistake. Keep trying and you’ll learn how to draw Sonic The Hedgehog in no time.

Here’s a list of coloring supplies we recommend to use, however, feel free to use whatever you can find around the house!
- Pencil, Marker, Sharpie, Pen (Anything you can draw with!)
- Paper (We love marker paper but use anything you can find).
- Colored Markers (if you want to color the drawing).
Here are what we think are the best colored pencils, best gel pens and best markers for coloring. - Your imagination (feel free to change colors or add things to the drawing!).
If you are already a fan of a particular marker/coloring brand you may want to check out a few of our other guides such for popular brands such as Ohuhu markers, Artzea and Prismacolor markers.
Otherwise, just pick whatever coloring tools you have around the house (crayons, markers, pencil crayons etc.) and just have some fun!
A Few Tips Before You Start Drawing
- The hands and arms can be tricky. Take it slow and start with the thumb to help space and size the hand.
Let’s Draw Sonic The Hedgehog – Step By Step
For the last line, you can start from the front of the face and bring it back to connect to the last hair spike.
You can try the eye outlines next.
Follow the arrows up and down to create the curves.
Try and end the line around the same height as the top of nose. Finish off with the mouth outline.
Note: If it helps, you can try doing the mouth outline first instead of trying to line the eyes with the nose height.
For the last line, you can start from the front of the face and bring it back to connect to the last hair spike.
You can switch over to the other side of the hand after.
Also adding additional spike hair to the back.
Add the lines inside for detail..
