“Don’t Have A Cow, Man” – One of Bart’s famous quotes from The Simpsons. We love this character and thought it would be a lot of fun to try and draw him.

Our step by step tutorial to draw Bart Simpson is a little longer than others but that is because we thought it would be easier to keep each step, really simple. So don’t feel overwhelmed with all the steps on this character. It isn’t nearly as hard as it seems.

If you follow our lesson, you should be able to pull off a pretty good-looking Bart Simpson drawing.

Art Supplies

Here’s a list of coloring supplies we recommend to use, however, feel free to use whatever you can find around the house!

Pencil, Marker, Sharpie, Pen (Anything you can draw with!)
Paper (We love marker paper but use anything you can find).
Colored Markers (if you want to color the drawing).

Your imagination (feel free to change colors or add things to the drawing!).

Otherwise, just pick whatever coloring tools you have around the house (crayons, markers, pencil crayons etc.) and just have some fun!

A Few Tips Before You Start Drawing

Let’s Draw Bart Simpson – Step By Step

howtodrawbarsimpson-step1 — **Step 1:** Draw A Circle. This is one of Bart’s eyes.

howtodrawbarsimpson-step2 — **Step 2:** Draw his nose. It’s long but not too tall/wide. Almost like a peanut shell

howtodrawbarsimpson step3 — **Step 3:** Draw Bart’s 2nd eye.

howtodrawbarsimpson step4 — **Step 4:** Add 2 dots (one in each eye) for his pupils and then start from the nose and go down and around for the top of his mouth.

howtodrawbarsimpson step5 — **Step 5:** Finish the mouth/start of neck.

howtodrawbarsimpson step6 — **Step 6:** Draw his ear. A little up and left of the side of his mouth.

howtodrawbarsimpson step7 — **Step 7:** Draw a long, slightly curved, line for his hair/back of head. Start from the top go down.

howtodrawbarsimpson step8 — **Step 8:** Draw Bart’s hair. Easy up and down triangle tops.

howtodrawbarsimpson step11 — **Step 11:** Continue with the body. Bart’s belly sticks out a little so make sure you add that little bump on the bottom.

howtodrawbarsimpson step14 — **Step 14:** Draw Bart’s arms next.

howtodrawbarsimpson step26 — **Step 26:** Add the last shoe details. This one has a little partially cut circle on the side. Don’t color that in. It’ll stay white inside.
