Hi Mofukawa Fans!

Today let’s try learning how to draw a cute girl. This will be an easy, step by step guide designed for kids or beginners of any age. Like a lot of our other tutorials, we try to keep it to 12 or less steps.

This art style is surprisingly easy to draw, with the hands and front of hair being the most difficult. The body, arms and head are all very simple shapes. Add a little bit of color and this character ends up looking pretty impressive for how simple a lot of the steps are.

Art Supplies

Here’s a list of coloring supplies we recommend to use, however, feel free to use whatever you can find around the house!

Pencil, Marker, Sharpie, Pen (Anything you can draw with!)
Paper (We love marker paper but use anything you can find).
Colored Markers (if you want to color the drawing).
Here are what we think are the best colored pencils, best gel pens and best markers for coloring.

Your imagination (feel free to change colors or add things to the drawing!).

Otherwise, just pick whatever coloring tools you have around the house (crayons, markers, pencil crayons etc.) and just have some fun!

A Few Tips Before You Start Drawing

The front of the hair doesn’t need to be perfect. The main focus should be on the middle to create the “heart” inside the hair. Don’t worry too much about the angles of the other hair pieces.

Let’s Draw A Cute Girl – Step By Step

Draw Cute Girl Step 1 — **Step 1:** We’ll start with the head. Start on the left and just go down and up to the other side.

Draw Cute Girl Step 2 — **Step 2:** Next, draw little curved lines on each side for the ears. Draw a very tiny line and end it with a little space before the outside of the ear.

Draw Cute Girl Step 3 — **Step 3:** For the front hair, you can start on the left top side. Follow the arrows for the first 2 hair blades.

You can then go to the middle and start the left side of the “heart” hair and make hair blades until it connects with the area you drew.

Repeat this on the right side of the head.

Draw Cute Girl Step 4 — **Step 4:** The body should be fairly straight forward. You can try starting with the middle neck curve and continuing into the left shoulder and down.

Draw Cute Girl Step 5 — **Step 5:** Here, create the rest of the shoulders and add a few little heart details.

Draw Cute Girl Step 6 — **Step 6:** Keep the hand width smaller than the shoulder pieces you created. Try to keep the fingers small. Their width should also be smaller than the shoulders.

Draw Cute Girl Step 7 — **Step 7:** Next, draw the legs and feet. There’s nothing really complicated about them. The main focus is making sure the legs are not too long and the feet are not over-sized.

Draw Cute Girl Step 8 — **Step 8:** For the top hair, you can follow the arrows. Start in the top middle and move left. Repeat on the right side.

Draw Cute Girl Step 9 — **Step 9:** This step is all about adding extra little details to the hair and near the shoulders.

The little hairs inside the “heart” hair will give some depth and make the hair look like it is sticking out.

Draw Cute Girl Step 10 — **Step 10:** Draw the eyes and mouth.

Draw Cute Girl Step 11 — **Step 11:** Draw little cheek blushes under the outside tips of the eyes using the color you plan to fill them in with.

How To Draw A Cute Girl Step 12 — **Step 12:** Color the rest of the cute girl drawing. If you are doing the polka dots then just use the clothes color to draw circles and leave them white.
